R.I.P. Rue McClanahan

Wow, too bad, She died from a stroke evidently.

I loved her on the Goldens Girls- She once was asked by one of the other ladies about her date-

"Hey how was your date tonight?
She replied, It was okay we broke down in the middle of no where.
Bea Arthur asked her, My goodness what did you do?
Rue answered only in the way that her character would, "That's just it,We did everything"

She was great. Sad about her passing.

Very sad. A beautiful lady. We followed her career since Maude. Golden Girls was a terrific show for the whole family. Sad that Betty White is the last remaining star from GG.

Whenever the subject of cougars or loving a mature woman comes up, I am always proud to reveal Rue spent the night in the water bed I had in the basement during High School.



Long after I moved out of my folks house, mind you.

(My cousin was Rue's assistant at the time and they were kind enough to visit when whatever touring cast Rue was part of was came through town. Played it to the hilt for my star struck parents, so I hear.)
