i have no clue. not like the numbers will be anything big, i mean 50k on its best day im assuming. Remember they already went a whole week without updates then they started again and here we are again. They might just release weekly numbers from now on. I guess its harder to track limited releases. Who knows. Ur guess is as good as mine tbh.

Actually its the studios. None of the studios updated or sent out any actuals yesterday. In-fact BO.com nor BOM.com updated yesterday. BoxOffice.com even has a 4 day estimate to include monday, not just the regular 3 days. Im 90% sure yesterday wasnt a holiday in the US...or am i wrong? If it wasnt, then its clearly the Golden Globe effect, something we can expect for the Oscars as well im assuming, also assuming burlesque is still in theaters in the US. 98% of Foreign updates always take place tuesdays between 5-10pm on BOM btw. And they have been working since they put up the foreign estimate yesterday.

Yesterday was a federal holiday in the states. It was Martin Luther King's Birthday. The films always get that special 4 day weekend tally on the 3rd week of January.
