Here's my review, I tried to put everything I remembered! LOL

November 12th 2010
I met up with Gretchen at the Denver airport since her connecting flight was the flight I was on to New Orleans and due to having time to kill we went to Rock Bottom to have dinner, and beer, I happened to also get a shot which totally made me buzzed.
We boarded the plane and it seemed forever until we landed but we finally landed bout 10:45pm and got our luggage and got a shuttle to our hotel, checked in and I went to sleep shortly after that I was tired and knew we had to be up a little early to start our day.

November 13th 2010
Got up went to eat some breakfast and ended up getting ready for the day headed to the French Quarter and we spent like three hours or so walking around, looking at shops, and of course eating different foods ha-ha.
We headed to the hotel and got ready but then I realized that I had a 911 fashion had to go to Wal-Mart where I ended up getting a pair of flat sandals and a nice cute shirt which made me look a lot nicer which I was so happy for I wanted to look at least decent.

We ended up being late for the event due to the getting direction’s, Gretchen had to get ready and I had to finish but we didn’t arrive too late we got there a bout 7:15pm or so and there was a lot of people there we grabbed some seats and met two very nice people who ended up hanging out with for rest of the night.
We found Ian’s table and he arrived later on and we went over and to see what was happening the moment he came in people were all around him and since he left he was hoarded no one left him any space whatsoever.
He came onto the stage and welcome everyone and talked for a little bit and towards the end he shook my hand well from there I just watched what was going on pretty much but as Ian became closer to me in the crowd he looked straight into my eyes and I told him that I came from Denver to be here, he repeated “Denver” shocking and grabbed my hand with a huge smile and looked into my eyes once again and came in and kissed my left cheek and I could hear the kiss in my ear it was a moment to treasure forever, I kept trying to get around people because I just wanted a couple of photos but it was really hard, ha-ha people wouldn’t MOVE.
He was trying to get to everyone just saying hello, shaking their hand, etc I could tell towards the end of the night he was pretty tired.

We waited in line to meet Ian since he was doing photo’s during it he went back onto the stage to talk about the donation and birthday project which turned out to be amazing, it was such a great turn out I wish I knew bout it so I could have been part of it. *sighs* I went back into line for the meet and greet and we were told Ian was going to have some dinner and he walked down the line and he stopped right in front of my friend and I and spoke to us he did a pinky swear with a woman we had met, he said ‘I promise to get to you” I was like “are you sure” he goes “yes without a doubt” I was like awe that’s so cute when you say it like that ha-ha but he ended up telling us to enjoy the party have a great time and not to wait in line ha-ha and he came in and kissed my cheek again but it was my right cheek this time and I asked if I could have two photo’s and he goes “NOO” and smiling and I was like please, and he smiled and walked down the line some more.

After while we found out that Ian had move to another spot to do autograph’s and photo’s, which we got in good timing ended up being like the 20th people in line
and Ian walked by and saw me and he gave me this warm smile and rubbed my right arm which made me smile as he approached we all ended up being pushed back and there was like 50 people in front of us but we ended up waiting in the line for over thirty minutes due to group of people that decided to cut in they thought they were all highly mighty and better than us some people even started noticing and we started pushing our way through to not let them get by but of course at this point I was furious I pretty much ended up yelling at a person or two but I just hate it when people can’t see that there’s a line formed, where some of us had waited all night patiently.

When it was finally my turn the woman I became friend’s with ended up going to Ian telling him that I’m deaf but I had no idea what his response was but he was all telling me to come up there and so I went up and asked for a kissing photo and I was going to have someone take it but he wanted to take it himself which he did and he saw the photo and said it turned out great and I asked for one more photo and it to be huggable and he just held me SO close like we were one but yes it was ADORABLE then he said he had to go do something very quick but I asked him to sign my dollar and he goes “hell yeah, I’ll do it even though it’s illegal” ha-ha!
He came back and as he was waiting for my friend I asked him if he gets annoyed by all these girls and no space and he said no he loves it, I was like no don’t lie ha-ha, my friend went up and I took the photo for her and Ian asked me if were going to go I said yeah I think so and we said our good-bye’s, and I said “I love you” and pulls me in for a hug and goes “I love you too” and kisses my cheek again.

Towards the end Ian was told to stop photo’s and had to get back onto the stage and said his thank you and good-bye’s, and he also explained he wanted to do a group photo and that we all had to move bout 5 feet from the stage and so I yelled that I’m 5”5’ I can measure so I went down on the floor and no one had a clue what I was doing, Ian looked at me like “no that isn’t going to work” I said yes it will, I’m 5’5” and you need 5 feet! LOL and everyone moved by behind me and I was still on the floor ha-ha but as I got into my spot as it was time he came right down and stood right next to me *giggle* there was some problems with the camera but he left to help and came back and took a few more shots and once again got back onto the stage and said good-bye’s he told me to check Twitter and winked at me I said I will, and I yelled “ thank you” he goes “thank you so much” I was like “you’re welcome” we shook hands once more and we ended up leaving the stage area.

I felt so bad that Ian couldn’t at least sit at his table and eat in peace without fans hogging the table and watching and taking photo’s, and not only that but he was on the phone as well and people were following him like hawks sorry but to me that is very disrespectful I think that some people forgot what this event was actually suppose to be for.
I also was annoyed that some girl kept touching me and trying to pull me away from my spot when we did the group photo, it’s like please don’t touch me I like my space you know and I don’t like strangers touching me, it’s very disrespectful but over all I had the best time and many memories to remember!

YES... that is sad when celebs are swarmed so much, it really wears them out. We see that happen a lot in L.A. & its always painful to watch.

TERRIFIC he did so much to help the animals & reach out to his fans also.

I totally agree and to be honest, I walked inside and wasn't expecting a whole lot and yet I got whole lot more!
