Ruby Frost - debut album, Volition released June 8, 2012

For a new artist, she's quite original and has definitely got 'the sound' and a solid voice too, as lately its not been too often that I've thought so highly of many of the new artists appearing on the music scene, but as for Ruby Fröst, she's just parted the sea leading to the promised land - finally some absolutely wonderful new music!

Finally have the new CD by Ruby Frost but had to get it through a CD snail-mail swap with friends overseas as getting it in the States seems a bit way too much effort (putting it lightly). Great stuff ! :)

And just knowing Ruby Frost, this is not going to be a disappointment - definitely not another "Simon"! ;)

Too bad I live on the wrong side of the planet as I would LOVE to see this live, not so much for the wannabe artists auditioning, but to finally see somebody like Ruby tell them exactly what she thinks without beating around the bush like Simon! I don't know about the rest of the judges but Ruby will surely be like solid gold :)

Of course, the unexpected might happen and an artist may show up and surprise everyone with something way beyond X-Factor scales - like a "Holy Wow!" performance that leaves everybody's jaws on the floor with awe.

To define what I mean by "Holy Wow!", it's like my first impressions after Soda Stereo (Argentina) released Sueño Stereo (1995), and MTV unplugged - Comfort y Música para volar (1996). Pure Legends!!!
