a) their voices are soul mates. Listen to any Kings song, specifically The Face from the latest album or Mary, and you'll hear the sincerest form of powerful & soulful rock in a voice.
b) if it became a single, they'd be smoldering hot together in the video and performing it live...I genuinely suspect they would even become at least briefly involved.
c) Kings of Leon is already on freakin' RCA...less paperwork!

This sort of obvious idea just flies under the radar, or maybe there'd even be some attitude involved...but this would be the greatest male/female duet Christina could possibly do in her career.
He's exactly at her level with the grit and the growl and the restraint and weight of feeling behind his voice.
It wouldn't be over-sung, it'd just be a wet, smoldering thundercloud of romance and feeling.
Vocally-speaking, IT's like the blue eyed soul equivalent to Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin recording a duet.

WOW I thought that I was the only one that actually thought this... Also I think her and Daniel Merriweather would be awesome, for one he's practically unknown in the U.S. He also has an awesome voice, Blue Eyed Soul duet ftw!
