How can I choose just one? Top favorites, in no particular order:

For No One
Something
Happiness is a Warm Gun
Drive My Car
Taxman
While My Guitar Gently Weeps

And jeez, a whole bunch of others, really.

If I was only allowed top pick one Beatles song to listen to and not any others it would be.....

Everybody's got Something to Hide (Except me and my Monkey) Great wake up song and party song.

Blackbird, I'm Only Sleeping, I Need You, Glass Onion, While My Guitar Gently Weeps... Just the ones that stick out above and beyond, as it's hard to go wrong with most songs. White Album is so strange, some of their best and some of their worst...

And not the track you've named yourself after?

Haha, I agree. The first time I heard it, I couldn't quite figure out what I thought about it. :)

And not the track you've named yourself after?

Well, I love it, but it's not my absolute favorite track by them. It is beautiful, though. Interestingly, I recently heard that Paul McCartney wrote that song about the civil rights movement/segregation in the United States during that time.

"In My Life", the song to which my wife and I had our first dance as a married couple.

I've heard that's one of the most popular wedding songs in history. Good choice.

I just love "The long and winding road"... and everytime I miss a very good friend of mine (she moved to Beijing) we try to arrange a web conferencing (http://www.mikogo.com) session and while we talk we listen to the song.. (she loves the song as well).

"A Hard Day's Night" and "Norwegian Woods" are some of my all-time favorites, as well as "Let it be" but "Ob La Di- Ob La Da" never fails to make me smile...listening to it here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJhcGepfG04) right now while I'm browsing around on myhammer.com (http://www.myhammer.com) for a solution regarding my bathroom-"situation". Very good site, too :)

I like a lot but "All You Need is Love" is most interesting as towards the very end there's a riff from "Lady Greensleeves" played along with "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah..." dubbed over it. That's a classic touch of John's cynical humour!
