That's a very unlikely thing to happen, and I doubt Aaron even wants to. But I'll sign anyway.

He's trying to break away from that. If he does that, which he won't, he is just going to continue to be known as "Nick's little brother"..

Ooooor, he does the nothing that he's doing now. I mean, yeah he's getting $5,000 for each club performance.... but he COULD be doing better.

Could be? Yeah, a "little". It kinda sounds like a lose-lose to me, unfortunately.

Viewpoint #1 - This would be a great opportunity for Aaron. This tour is getting A LOT of attention for BSB and NKOTB. It's the first time I've heard MTV sound remotely enthusiastic about something BSB is doing in years. Magazines, websites, tv networks, and radio stations pounced on this when they announced it. The hype from the tour seems to be benefiting both groups in the media -- getting them some awareness and attention from old fans and new, which is great for their careers. I think Aaron could use some press attention (especially positive press about his music that he's been doing so well with and working so hard on). So, in that light, it would be a great way to really immerse himself back into the industry (more than just the club scenes), perform for way more people than he is now, make some more money, and really prove to the world that he is back and putting out some truly incredible hits.
Viewpoint #2 - This would keep Aaron in Nick's shadow and come off as him "riding Nick's coattails" to success. While I do think (personally) BSB would at least be open to Aaron if he wanted to tag along, I feel like Aaron would prefer to not associate himself with them just so he can continue to make a name and career for himself separate from his brother. However, when Aaron was asked why he didn't open for BSB on the TIU tour, Aaron's response was something along the lines of "ask Nick" and it put me under the impression that it was something he would have done, but it wasn't offered to him or he was turned down maybe? So I think in the not for it view, it would be because it would keep him attached to Nick and it may be a bit harder for him to get onto this tour than just a BSB one cause it is a big deal and NKOTB is involved as well.
My personal opinion -- I think if Aaron wants to do this and both groups are on board, he should go for it. I would absolutely love to see him open for the groups. I think he's come such a long way and it would be incredible if he can show the multitude of people that will show up for this tour how far he's come and how talented he truly is. Will there be some down sides to it? Sure, but there are up and down sides to everything. And I feel like this would be a great opportunity for him and if all the sides are for it, they should make it happen. :)

He gets the $5,000 and the venue ALSO has to pay for airfare (for 2) & accommodations. I guess it's a pretty good deal. Could still be doing better imo, but it takes work..
