The truly sad thing about this is I think the Flea Baggers, as they did with GWB, actually sees this as a badge of honor, as attacks by the media on small mistakes.

You know, I can honestly understand an occasional mistake like this when a person is speaking.....it would be pretty easy to merge "refute" and "repudiate" and have it come out "refudiate" accidentally.

But for someone who wants to be taken seriously as a potential leader of the free world, to have typed this and then let it go out without proofreading it is really beyond stupid.

Agreed, Claire. Charismatic clown runs for office. It worked in '00. The question is whether voters will actually accept these years as good or not. With Swift Boaters, Flea Baggers and I'm sure the occasional Birther as well still throwing out lies and rumors, there are enough dumb people out there that won't actaully care there's no future plans on the Right.
